I’m still not sure I’m sold on Twitter….I mean, it’s interesting to read other people’s blogs…but I don’t know if I want to know what they’re doing all the time!!
I agree Allison. I think that I would limit it to a specific classroom activity as another tool or resource to communicate with.
Although I am thinking about it as a school communication that could enhance a system in place. Twitter lets you have the info sent to your cell phone so I wonder if a type of emergency info communication could be utilized. If there was no school due to snow, early cancellation due to emergency… maybe Twitter could be one of the communication devices used to get a message out quickly to the entire school/parent population. I don’t think we could rely on it solely, but it could enhance what is being done already… possibly.
